Our 2 year old loves to copy what we do. So when he sees us doing yard work (weeding, pushing a wheelbarrow or digging) he wants to be in there too. We encourage his helping us by giving him his own little shovel and wheelbarrow as he will help us do yard work for hours. He has a blast, gets fresh air, exercise and helps us get a few chores done as a bonus. It is a great way to get some family time and our son feels great for contributing too!
